Oprah talk show will end in 2011

The Oprah Winfrey Show is to end in September 2011 after more than two decades on air, the production company behind the program has said.

Billionaire Ms Winfrey, 55, one of the most influential women in the US, has hosted the show since 1986.

A spokesman for the star's Harpo production company would not say why Winfrey had decided to quit, but said she would discuss it on Friday's show.

Winfrey is expected to focus instead on the launch of her own TV channel!

She already runs a satellite radio station, Oprah Radio, with presenters including Dr Maya Angelou and sex therapist Dr Laura Berman.

Dubai World Marvel Super Heroes Theme Park Concepts

Late 2007, United Arab Emirate-based Al Ahli Group and Marvel Entertainment, Inc. announced a partnership that will bring Marvel's full library of Super Heroes - including Spider-Man, Iron Man, The X-Men, Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer - to Dubai for a major new theme park destination being developed by AAG. The Marvel Super-Heroes theme park project was supposed to open in 2011 with an investment of over $1 billion USD but apparently it seems that it will open now in 2012. I don't know yet if the Disney deal with Marvel changed anything in the project, let's hope not.

Giant Gingerbread House Opens At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

It’s opening day for Disney's amazing Victorian gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World.

To build it you’d need 800 pounds of flour, 600 pounds of sugar and 1,050 pounds of honey. So They’re offering the next best thing — a taste of the experience. The Grand Floridian Bake Shop uses a classic gingerbread recipe from Austria to make their gingerbread houses, ornaments and cookies. Here’s a holiday recipe that will bring the Disney Parks holiday experience into your home:

You can find star anise in the ethnic aisle in your local grocery store. To get the best flavor from this spice, you will need to grind the whole star anise pod. For the neatest edges, dip your cookie cutters in flour before cutting out each cookie.

The Grand Floridian gingerbread house offers homemade items like shingles, stollen bread, chocolate chip cookies and chocolate-peppermint bark. You’ll also find gingerbread ornaments and miniature gingerbread houses. I'm Back

Hey everyone, I'm back in Kuwait :(
that is so sad because I had an amazing time in the USA, I love it there so much and I did many many things, hmmm where should I start?
First when I arrived in NYC I stayed in Empire Hotel, when I checked in they gave me a paper that says they're gonna close the lobby for 2 days, why? because they're gonna film a scene of Sex And The City 2 ! I got so excited I wanted to meet any of the actors, LOL. but I couldn't.
The next day I went to Kylie's show and it was like WOW, not once, but twice :D
I love to go to musicals so much, so, I went to Chicago and The Phantom Of The Opera, and also a play called A Steady Rain starring Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig.
I flew to Orlando, FL after a week, rented a car from the airport (Nissan Altima) and stayed in a hotel called Mona Lisa, it's close to everything and it was perfect, but the housekeeping really are annoying! I went to all 4 Disney parks, Universal Studios, Island Of Adventure, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens in Tampa, and Nasa's Kennedy Space Center. Went twice to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Party, The fireworks were amazing, love it. and Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios wes so much fun and a little bit scary, just little bit :P I can't be me without going to shows of course, I went to Cirque du Soleil (La Nouba) in Downtown Disney, and Blue Man Group Show in City Walk. and in Halloween night, I dressed up as Ugly Betty and went Trick or Treating at last :) it was one of my dreams! after 2 weeks in Florida I flew back to NYC, stayed in AKA Sutton Place, went to see many things like Statue Of Liberty, Central Park, Empire State Building, Rockfeller Center, and of course I did my own tour of Sex And The City locations :) and last but not least, I went to Evanescence's concert. oh and you couldn't feel New York without shopping so, I went shopping in Barney's, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Saks fifth avenue, and many many more... aaaah I love New York, and I love Florida more :) that was a trip I'll never forget..
